♫ש  Calculator S ©
Q:What is this?   A:This is a neat looking calculator that runs on javascript.
The script is originally titled "Scientific Calculator©" and the script is from http://www.netpedia.com ©   but I have lost reference to the creator of the script. The script had a major bug in that the square-root button was assigned to doing a cosine function! This has been corrected.
The script worked well but I could never understand why the trigonmetry buttons gave such different values than my battery-operated calculator. Finally (after over a decade?), I stumbled onto the fact that these functions gave the result in RADIANS instead of the traditional DEGREES. (Maybe javascript performs in Radians by default.)   Anyway, the functions now express the result in DEGREES. [If you want it to express in RADIANS, delete this string "*Math.PI/180" from this document's html code.] Theoretically this webpage when saved locally should be able to work even if there is no internet connection.
